These first year issued cars have come to be known as the "Sweet Sixteen" or the "Original Sixteen" by collectors.
The "Beatnik Bandit" is one of these first year cars! This is also a Redline car,(redline refers to the thin red line around the outside edge of the tires. Only cars made between 1968 and 1980 have these.).
This is a cute little car that looks like George Jetson should be driving it! Its in pretty good shape too with only minor scuffing to the paint so I don't think its seen much "Play Time".
