this might sound dumb but what exactly is this and what is it for ? how do you use this?

LOl... I hope this info helps you.. I wasnt sure myself until I looked it up..I never used it...This is a Signature Wax Wand by Candle Warmer. It is 6" long. It has what looks like a wooden handle (although it is not mentioned on the package, what it's made out of; it looks wooden to me). The purpose of this item is described as: Candle melts faster and releases fragrance sooner, Eliminates wax splatters caused by pressure build up, Prevents candle overflows, and Eliminates glass breakage caused by pressure build up. You would twist the tool down into the middle area to within1/4" of the bottom, pull up the tool and it will remove a plug of the wax candle. Place the plug on top of the candle so it can be melted as the candle melts. To prevent a concern of overflowing candles, you can pull out several plugs! If the plug is hard to remove from the tool, place tool in melted candle for a few minutes. Plug will melt out. It's a pretty cool thing!

thanks for responding so quickly. i gotta say . . . it sounds kind of curiously interesting to me. so much so i just might have to GIN . . . i';; let the timer run down a little bit longer but i think i want this. (of course now i need some candles too) do you know if this can be used with those things that are called soy wax melts? i sort of curious on those too.

I am pretty sure! I think as long as it isn't those really hard candles. Soy candles are very soft. Thanks!! :D
