is this an indoor or outdoor plant? how often does it need watering? F&W

During the summer months mine love the direct sun and dry heat of outside. However, they cannot tolerate cold temps below 50 degrees, so I bring them inside when it gets colder.
They are a small slow growing succulent, so they do not take up much room. They are happy in a west or southern window. They prefer dry soil (especially during dormant winter months), so I let them get good and dry then I water them.

I have a specimen of this that is what I call Giant. The stems are much larger than this variety. I found it of all places in New York City in a Lowe's at Christmas time.

Yes! With delicate plants like this I always use a box and pack so the plant cannot be shaken or otherwise damaged. Thanks for asking!
