The listing, Vintage POSTCARD Church of Saint Nicholas PRAGUE Czechoslovakia has ended.
The Church of Saint Nicholas is the Baroque church in Lesser Town. This is a masterpiece of Christoph and Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhofer (on the postcard the "t" is omitted from the name).
The name Malá Strana translated into English literally means "Little Side", though it is frequently referred to as "Lesser Town", derived from its position on the left bank of the river Vltava, in opposition to the larger towns of Prague on the right bank.
This card is another from an estate collection, unused, and in very nice condition! Closest I can come to dating it is 1919 – 1920s, and that is not certain, but based on cards it was with and ones I have seen online.
Card will ship in a first class envelope which carries no tracking, so please be sure you are agreeable to that method of shipping before bidding.
