Description

The listing, Felted Bowls Group One has ended.

5 felted bowls. Top bidder gets 5 bowls if bidding tops 20,000 credits, 4 bowls at 15,000, 3 bowls at 10,000, 2 bowls at 5,000 and 1 bowl if under 5,000. Your choice. I'm putting up 5 auctions, each with 5 bowls. I'd appreciate it if you are willing to wait for me to ship until after all auctions close or when you've gotten as many bowls as you want.

All of the bowls have traveled to a lot of craft fairs and need to be dampened and reshaped a little bit. Other than that they are in like new condition.

Any bowls that don't go this round will be relisted.

I broke my ankle this last winter and can't do craft fairs. I need to get rid of some of my old stock!

Details:
First bowl is 100% wool, about 3 3/8" deep, about 5 1/4" wide, thickly felted and firm. Darkest at the base and shades up to a lighter color at the top.

Second bowl is wool and handspun alpaca, fuzzy and much darker than it looks in the picture. About 3 1/2" deep and about 5" across. Thickly felted.Fuzzy inside and out from the alpaca.

Third bowl is wool and some other fiber. About 2 1/4" deep and 3 1/2" across. Fairly firmly felted. I think it is a mix of three colors, beige, blue and green.

Fourth bowl is wool and mohair. About 2 1/4" deep, 4 1/4" across. A pretty bow, definitely needs reblocking/shaping.

Fifth bowl is wool, and the thinnest and least felted. about 3 1/4" deep and 5 1/4" across. Colors are pink, grey and black.

Any bowls that don't go this round will be relisted.

Do you needle felt these or do you use water? I have done a little bit with needle felting and I love it but don't think people know how much work goes into each project! Do you do other things other than bowls? Will be watching!

I knit them, then felt them in a top-loading washing machine. I no longer make this style of bowl which is one of the reasons I'm trying to clear these out.

Just wanted to note that I will not relist the bowls if the bidding is very low in the first round. Not worth the cost of shipping. I can give them away for free locally!
