The listing, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles & Other Strangeness RPG (revised ed.) and supplements has ended.
Hi everybody! I have a lot of books and comics that I could stand to give away, and we're starting with a role-playing-game by Palladium Press
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles & Other Strangeness is a table top role-playing game (the kind that uses interesting dice) based on the comic book series where many kinds of animals, mutated by industrial waste, become increasingly human yet must hide on the outskirts of civilization. This rpg, like the original comics, tells stories that are fast-paced, filled with action, violence, and adventure. The terrible puns from the cartoons and movies are not included.
The first supplement, Road Hogs, takes the characters into a dystopian Mad-Max setting in the distant future where vehicles and fuel are valued more dearly than life.
The second supplement, After The Bomb, is a similar, if more urban, post-apocalyptic setting.
All three books are well-read and worn. The binding is intact, but expect creases, bent corners, etc.
If you're tired of Dungeons & Dragons but don't want to give up that kind of competitive story-telling atmosphere, this game might be worth looking at.
From Wikipedia:
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles & Other Strangeness is a role-playing game based on the comic book created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. The core rulebook was first published by Palladium Books in September 1985 – a couple years before the Turtles franchise achieved mass popularity – and featured original comic strips and illustrations by Eastman and Laird. The rules and gameplay are based on Palladium's Megaversal system. Some of these rules, outlining the basics of character creation and providing a short list of animal options, were later incorporated in the second edition of Heroes Unlimited.
