Yes, many people are drop shipping from china and post that you won't get your item for 4-6 weeks. I've seen many neg comments that they never get items so that is why people are starting to ask. Nice auction.

Thanks for that info. I've been curious about the China shipping thing. I thought that Listia rules state that a buyer is to have the item shipped within 7 days, and the seller has to wait no more than 30 days for the package to arrive. I wonder why Listia is allowing such a thing! Thanks for the info and for viewing my auction!

I think they have to ship in 7 days unless it's clearly stated that it will be some other time frame. I won't bid on those auctions. They usually want you to pay for shipping also. Just like ebay...it's getting a bit "congested" here.

I agree about the "congested" part. Also, the credits for items have been highly inflated. Less than a year ago, you could win a $75 gift card for around 150,000 points.....now they tend to go for 300,000-400,000 points. Some folks are bidding higher on high end items if they have the credits, but most sellers selling general merchandise aren't getting the number of credits to match the inflation. I'm seeing so many good buyers and amazing sellers leaving the site due to "inflation," "rudeness," an "inability to compete" with this drop shipping stuff. The community used to be filled with good, friendly, and honest folks (and many are still out there) but I miss that, but alas things change. I'm listing everything I have on hand now and am seriously considering not listing for a long while to see what happens with Listia and all this new congestion. I'm so glad you brought this up. It's been on my mind for a while. Listia used to be great for the seller and buyer....good products at reasonable credit costs. I'm curious to see how it changes in the future. I love Listia and hope to return one day when things settle some. So, check my auctions regularly as I'm adding new stuff everyday until my stock is all listed. Free shipping and my bids start low!
