Havent located my owners manual yet,but it is the same scanner as the PRO-164 Triple Trunking model.

For good info try policecanners.com or.net. They can do thing for your scanner you wont believe! From there you should be on your way to excellent sites an educational facts about scanning frequencies you never knew you could listen to.I Gurantee that!

Thanks rinbear071....... this one picks up frequencies that the $400 and $500 ones wont touch. most digital frequencies are now encryepted,so you cant listen to them anyway so dont fall for that digital crap! Thanks again.

It is a pro-57 but the pro-164 is the same scanner,they just gave it a new cat.# and called it a pro-164.For a picture of this one i have look at the pro-164 at radioshack.com and that is the scanner i have

The radio shack in my town does not program those anymore because they are not digital. Where do you get it programmed at?

you can buy a program for your computer from Scan-Cat that will download the frequencies straight to this scanner from your ccompeter using a $3 or $4 patch cord. policescanners.net or policescanners.com is an excellen

I am not very good with computers, so I will have to get someone to help me upload a picture for you to see. The scanner is a triple trunking. Scan cat programming is available on internet for a small fee. It will program the scanner with channels for your area.

Go to www.radioshack.com and type in Pro-164. That is the same scanner I have. There will be pictures and plenty of info.

Also , it uses 4 AA batteries. You can use rechargeables. They will last foo or about 12 enedhours t . I can get all the adapters for you if you need me to. It can be listt SORRY, I HAVE TO FIGURE OUT WHY COMPUTER IS SCREWING UP MY TYPING!!!!!!

You can listen to ALL police activity in your area,weather 24/7s.Fire hing does nowhintrucks,ambulances,airport activities,local government talk,public service,cell phonesconversations,cordless phones.About anything that uses airwave signals,and everything else. I have it programmed for four cgencyities around me and I can monitor everythihg that goes on. It is good to have in an emergency or just being nosey hours!ortain you f lol......It will entertain you for hours!

Please go to www.radioshack.com and search for Pro-164 Scanner. You can view a picture there,and get all the info I could give you. The Pro-164 is the same scanner that I have. Radio Shack just gave it a new model name.
