Description

The listing, Globe N Gears 1 oz Copper Bullion / Coin -- Detailed! has ended.

Coin case included.
1 AV oz .999 fine copper round (2011; 39 mm; reeded edge)
MJB Monetary Metals; AOCS Approved

This is a great copper round -- shiny like a new penny, only much larger. The detail on the gears side is incredibly nice, IMO, but use the pix to judge for yourself. Pix are of the actual coin the high bidder will receive. A great addition to anyone's coin or bullion collection!

This copper round has only been handled while wearing cotton gloves, to transfer it from the roll to the coin case.

I hope you'll understand, but I only fan users that list auctions I win or really like and users that win my auctions. If you end up being the high bidder, I'll gladly fan you back.

What is the difference between a AV oz and a troy oz?
Sep 24th, 2011 at 1:38:36 AM PDT by
Original
In short, the difference is 2.75 grams.
1 AV oz is what many of us think of as an oz in everyday life, which equals 28.35 grams. 1 Troy oz is slightly larger, being equal to 31.1 grams.

Funny thing is, the USPS charges the same (at least for an envelope) no matter where it goes in Canada, so it's pretty easy to get shipping quotes to anyplace in Canada.

I'll be putting on another one of the Walking Liberty style copper rounds later today that'll end the same day as this one. If interested and you win both, I could cut the flat rate shipping down instead of charging $2.00 each on them.

Thank you!
Yeah, there's certainly people that consider copper to be the next silver. Who knows if it'll pan out that way -- only time will tell.

Copper is bouncing between 3 and 4 dollars per ounce. It now costs the US Mint 3 cents for every 1 cent penny they make. Nice auction.
