Hello and welcome to my auction~{Vintage 12kt gold filled book locket}~

This locket was my grandmother's but as i do not wear gold I'm giving it up to one of you lovely people!
The locket has a bit of tarnish on it that should come off with some tooth paste
Inside the locket it is marked 1/20th 12kt gold filled with makers mark hfb
I did a little research to see if i could find how old it really is most of the book lockets consisting off the same metal i found are circa 1800s to early 1900s and are going for between $82-$140
It is well designed closes and opens great
The design of the flowers on the front are beautiful and detailed

I'm glad you commented, because, I LOVE THIS! I'm a total book worm! Don't watch watch TV anymore. If I see one more picture of Kim Karsmasheschairs and the doughnut hole she married, I just pray intelligence skips a few....dozen generations and she doesn't wind up with mom and dad's combined I.Q. of 78. They're scary stupid, but at least they're narcissistic too.

Honey that's not vintage, that's ANTIQUE. 50-99= Vintage, anything over 100 is antique. My husband and I like to think.of ourselves as sidewalk antique know-it-alls. He got a gorgeous squares baby grand piano built in 1951. It's beautiful...until you try to play it. Stop too quickly and you'll get the BENDS!

I'm soooooo going to win this! I have one now with pictures of my parents. It's amazing how I'm now only 1 year younger than my Momma was when she died at 52. You actually resemble her somewhat. She was stunning. Long black hair, fair skin and at 5' 6", weighed in at a whopping 115 pounds soaking wet. She so did NOT look 52!
