I have had this stored forever! I am having a hard time parting with this, bur here it is. :) This is a VINTAGE Super Emel railroad/barn/outhouse lantern. The glass is blown and I have included a pic where I hope you can see the run in the glass. This is not cracked or broken, it is a run in the glass when it was blown. Most collector's desire this in such items. The glass was covered in black before I cleaned it and noticed the run. This lantern stands 10 inches tall not including the handle and 14 inches tall including the handle. It does show rust on the top and other areas. It reminds me of the German lanterns with it's winged design. Very old. I don't know the date, but I would guess it at around the early 1900's. I have used this camping before and it's awesome when your walking through the woods. lol
