Up for bid is a postcard of Franz Josef Jonas, President of Austria from 1965 to 1974.He was Mayor of Vienna from 1951 to 1965, and this particular photo was from a press photo on 5/23/65.
The signature does not appear to be real, rather printed on the postcard. There is a slight bend at the bottom left corner of the card, otherwise in nice condition for a collection!
There is no show-through on the actual back of the postcard (address side), but the light from my scanner projected the photo on front through to the back, as this card is of thinner stock.
Card will be shipped in a reinforced first class envelope which carries no tracking. Please be sure you are in agreement with this method of shipping before bidding.
