The listing, Windows 7 Professional for 32 & 64bit has ended.

Got these from another seller here on Listia and found that neither of my computers could use the Operating System so these are unused!!!

Now, here's the info from the original auction (w/permission of seller):

According to Listia admins, I should tell the bidder exactly what these DVDs are:
* These DVDs are the Free Dell Windows 7 upgrade DVDs
* These DVDs CANNOT be sold for money, but nothing is said about giving them away for free
* These DVDs state they are intended for use with DELL HARDWARE,
* So if you own a DELL you technically qualify to get this DVD set.

This auction is for a Windows 7 Profession 32 bit and a Windows 7 Professional 64 bit Installation DVDs provided by a manufacturer as a free upgrade.

These licenses have never been registered and these DVD's have never been installed on a system. I tested similar DVDs to make sure they are fully functional "full" installs and not "upgrade" only.

Although on the tag it says "upgrade fulfillment" on these DVDs, they can be used as full installation disks for Windows 7.

These DVDs do not require a previous version of windows to be installed on the computer and can perform either an upgrade (vista home premium and up only) or a clean "custom" install (Upgrade DVDs cannot do this).

FAQ:

**The DVDs work on any computer that is x86/x64 architecture; they work on any computer not just a Dell.

**The DVDs have no Dell software inside; they are the equivalent of buying a Windows 7 Professional 32/64bit full install (not upgrade) edition at the store.

**This item is NOT a Dell OS restore CD, the License agreement listed in the EULA contained within the CD is the same as the one you buy at the store.

**This is NOT a duplicate made from a DVD burner.

No problem. International shipping is both costly and lengthy in delivery time. It's simply not practical and the chances of items getting lost in International Post Transit are too high.

Actually, international shipping to the UK is very reliable. Just use the Priority mail, flat rate for $14 (I think). Should work fine and get there in a few days. You can buy the label online and even fill out the customs forms online, it's pretty easy. Just so you know ...

Shipping to Asia is very dicey, and some countries like Italy that have a lot of political problems. But most Euro countries have good postal systems and the packages can be tracked at least to the destination postal office. It just costs a lot, and most bidders aren't willing to pay for it ... it's way too expensive to offer free shipping, that's for sure!

Weird, normally you can install dell discs on other computers, like my gateway was manufactured by "dell" once.
Not sure what the problem was here, but it made it to Listia, and it's succeeding!
