and eldest grand, sorry personal short hand.. it. means my oldest granddaughter.. shes 15
Not sure what "eldest grand is up for real yet" means .. but I was told never to lie.. this IN FACT came from my grandmother.. I'm not even sure Real pearls with silk and gold exist these days!!
Do know anything of their history, as in their age, type ( as in natural or cultured ?) If this is as old as I think it is, it could be one of several types common to the day.
I know they came over when she was pregnant with my father.. We are from an Irish decent.. Hence my name.. Full name Erin Kelly O'Brien from the Boru clan.. The "O" in a name means "son of" I am considered son of Brien. Ok this might sound fake but my grandma was kidnapped in 2002.. We believed she is passed on, confirmed it last year through death records.. Her Son, My father passed away when I was 18 at the age of 62.. My father fathered 5 children as we know.. 2 are my siblings..one is me.. one is a sister that we never met and one is a sister we wish we never met.. I know nothing about my family besides what I was told..
Are they as pinkish or yellow as the images make them out to be.. or really the soft white ? As with age and unworn, they do tend to yellow over time.. so which is it ?
I will reply when it is daylight. Please look above for the exact answer on your question.. If I have time I will take to a jeweler... But they often do not like to deal with pearls, If you are familiar with any kind of pearl your mouth is the true way to tell! I have dealt with south pacific, japanese, fresh, salt, and the truly best feeling is this necklace!
Hey hi, sorry to toss such questions at you, the reason asked their age, and yes they did make them just that way years ago.. the clasp alone proves that, but the variety now, ranged from everything from natural matched sets, cultured pearls, to what were call a "poor mans pearls" but the main value.. is their history.. so thank you for that
I didn't mean to give a life story.. I was trying to get to the point that I have nobody to ask where they came from... And the pearls look off white..
