This is NOT new in package. The pics (1-8) are for description purposes only. However, they are practically NEW! I purchased these for my nephew before he left to move to California & when he left, he forgot these here. He's not into nerf much, so he didn't play with them. I just purchased these last month. So, with that said- pictures 9-12 are of what you are receiving! They are in excellent condition, used maybe 2x, but NOT in original box/new.

The ACTUAL DESCRIPTION of the product is:
NERF'S FIREVISION products work by using a unique microprism technology, lighting up the ball with a glow that can be seen from 100 feet by someone wearing the unique FireVision frames. Can be seen in day or night! Play for hours with no charging required!

MY DESCRIPTION of the product is:
Nerfs FireVision items-football, basketball hoop, hyper bounce ball etc have a shiny material on them. To the naked eye, it looks like a regular ball. But if you are wearing Nerf's FireVision frames, the ball glows! The frames are worn like glasses & have a off/on switch. There are 2 tiny red lights on the frames, (Nerf also has green ones!) When the light hits the ball-the ball gives the illusion that it's glowing. It's not, but it looks like it to the person wearing the frames, because of the way the red lights hits the ball. But only can "glow" with the frames.

See the pics. My daughter is wearing them, in broad daylight to show the brightness! The last pic shows the glowing of the ball, what it will look like when your wearing them. The 2nd to last pic shows the strength of the red lights, pretty bright!
