20 PC Hardwood Plugs fully coated with mushroom seed spawn, Listing does not include any mushrooms only seed spawn on hardwood , Plugs are natural hand cut bark on ,Plugs in pictures are in early stages of mycelium growth. will be fully coated in mycelium upon delivery & ready to use. Size of plugs are 1 inch to 2 inches. and approx. 1/8 '' thick to 3/8'' thick. A stump or large log can produce mushrooms for years depending on size and hardness of wood log. these are the best beginner mushrooms , a few vids youll be a pro. With these , [ wood plugs ] , growers , use them in logs mostly, drill 20 holes in a oak , maple ,ash , wood log or stump, just No pine ,spruce or cypress, Log needs to be fresh cut within 1 mth of use, I suggest ,,,put these wood plugs in each drilled hole you can put a small pc of tape over each plugged hole , , keep logs damp not soaked & in total full shade , the bigger the log the longer it will take 4 mushrooms to sprout, There are great detailed vids you can watch , this will greatly improve your success.

It a very addicting hobby ,I also include with plugs a small packet of sawdust with blue oyster mycelium , great for making more plugs or mushroom grow kits / bags.
