The toughest one for me was the baby listing since I am childless.
I actually met a southern belle with lupus on this site. I was going to propose to her on Valentine's Day this year but she called it off in mid January.
Sorry to hear that but better now than later. I am california native & for some reason relationships never worked out unless they were from the west coast. Hubby of 17yrs was raised in El Monte until his mother died then he went to Grandmothers on east coast, married, divorced & now is with me so maybe there is something "in the air" with that. We met in Las Vegas at a wedding of all places..lol..
The person who won my "baby" category never hit the got it button so I had to list another one.. :(
If you live in Los Angeles County, I can meet you at a neutral place and hand you your winnings. I am a human mapquest that can beat the traffic in Los Angeles, Orange and Ventura Counties daily.
Lol..I know it's been awhile since I won your last auction but I live in north wisconsin now..However I do admire a human map quest as I really on sun & water for my bearings. Otherwise I would have been glad to make the "beat the traffic" challenge with you
I wish I was back in cali as winters are brutal here & I miss my "homeland" very much. It is really pretty & quiet on the Wolf River where I live but no mountains or disney land. I have plenty of beaches as I live in the elbow of lake superior & lake michigan plus my home on the wolf river
Gordon Lightfoot sang a song called the Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. This freighter was sunk by a vicious storm and all 29 were lost in Lake Superior.
II know the song well but only have lived here 11yrs
They finally found it a couple of years ago in 500 ft plus deep water so salvage has been slow. The weather conditions were historical which caused the wreck but we are famous for that up here. We had a historic flood on the wolf river the first month I lived here, 2 winter polar vortexes with temps at -50 degrees with wind chill for 2 days then 5 tornado the following summer. I watched the first 2 tform in the middle of the night thru the lightning with no sirens as NWS could not pick them up on radar. I called 911 to tell them what I saw but dispatch did not forward it and she was fired as other people called too.
Never a dull moment but usually so quiet you can hear a pin drop in my one horse town of 6,000 people.
If you have a chance google the "Admiral Fitzpatrick Barometer. I have one & it is more accurate then all the weather channels put together. I got i from a catalog called "Bits & Pieces"
I am so worried about the fires in Cal as my sister's home burnt down in the Laguna Beach fire of 1993. They were on vacation at time but neighbor who was watching pets got mild burns from saving them before her house burnt It was awful but they were glad all pets were safe more than anything. It almost burnt downtown to the ground.. I was living in my hometown of huntington beach and we had sooo much smoke from it that I stayed with friend in Oxnard
Who doesn't want to go to Hawaii!! I am so jealous Abraham but you just might meet a sweet islander so maybe solo is a sign. People are so nice & easy going there. TAKE THE TRIP!!!!! :)) & have fun!!.
