Description

The listing, SOLID GREEN ELEPHANT BUSH CLIPPINGS~X 2 STARTS~"SPEKBOOM" VARIETY~L@@K!! has ended.

Here today, were have "two" nice starts from my new solid green Elephant Bush plant. This is known s the "SPEKBOOM" variety. An interesting bit of TRIVIA about this plant, is that in the WILDS of Arfica, this plant can provide up to 80% of an elephant's diet!! Interesting...
Start your own pot with these starts!! Green Elephant Bush mother plant is pictured in the photos (photos 1 & 2--N*O*T included in auction!!) These are fairly slow to grow, and DO need bright light, and you do need to protect from frost. It is hardy to 36 degrees. Get these two 3-5" clippings to start your own great pot. I always suggest you have fresh potting soil and a clean pot, upon arrival. These clippings are N*O*T rooted!!

I offer FREE SHIPPING to save you $$$!!

Good Luck and Happy Gardening.

I take it from you that rooting might be as simple as good clean potting soil, make it wet, stick cuttings in and keep moist. Do you think it would respond to the organically rich but at least 50-50 with decomposed granite and sand - here and there some peat and compost with DilloDirt - mulching with 1 - 3 inches of small pebbles such as those used on forest paths, or retail nursery gardens ? The rock garden area gets direct sun for a short period in mid-morning then a filtered part shade until sunset.
