Description

The listing, TI-83 Scientific Calculator w/Computer hook-ups, etc. has ended.

Do NOT bid on this auction until you have read the rules. I will not bend or change them for anyone. If you do not agree to the rules, please do not bid. The rules are listed after the item(s) description.

This auction is for a silver TI-83 Scientific calculator. The casing is silvery-clear and you can see all the works inside. It is a really neat scientific calculator. I paid approx $118 for this because I needed it for 1 college course. I am hoping someone else can use it because that is just too much money to go to waste!
I am including all of the hookups that it came with (you can transfer equations and graphs from your TI-83 to your computer and back) and there are even some games on it, which surprised me. It has a lot of features, too many to list. I do not have the original packaging but you get everything you see ?

Auction Rules

The item(s) will be pictured exactly as they will appear when you open your package.
I always use delivery confirmation. Once you receive your package, the auction is over. If you don’t like the item(s) in person you can re-list.

Each item will have a shipping explanation. Do not ask me to change my shipping policy for you. I won’t. I take PayPal only. No concealed cash, no money orders, nothing besides PayPal. If you don’t have PayPal and have to pay shipping, do not bid. I will not track you down if you win an auction. You have 7 days to contact me and provide your address. If you are rude to me or my bidders I will block your comment and you. If you bid with me, and if you have a great auction, you may leave a link for all of us to check out. If you are a nice, fair, honest, and decent person who enjoys Listia and isn’t looking to scam, lie, cheat, or steal… then please, bid and have fun.

Yes, this is a graphing calculator. You can even transfer your graphs to and from your computer (I never used the feature but have all the hook-ups for it) and you can download the software at Texas Instruments website. It does graphs, tables, plotting, angles, syntax, equation solving, mapping, tracing, you can take practice tests on it (they are built in) play math games (built in) etc. It does a lot... you just have to know how to work it. (Texas Instruments has some great tools for learning how to use it).

I have only put batteries in it once and it lasted an entire semester. They must have died during storage. There is no corrosion on the battery terminals.

Just a quick question in the description it says that you take paypal, but it is listed as free shipping. Is it free shipping or is there a charge?

Great auction! I used my TI-85 back in the day. Let's see now, almost 20 years ago. YIKES!!! I'm getting old. From Trigonometry to Calculus, so glad I took those classes {{{being sarcastic}}}. lol

This is one is from a year ago.. they have come a long way with calculators!! They can basically do anything for you. I don't know how they think that is learning, but they do. To me, trigonometry is useless unless you go into specific fields (architecture being one of them). But if we didn't take useless college classes, how would the college survive? LOL
