Hi, these look like double hollyhocks! Wonderful. I have some regular ones in my garden but the leaves are getting chewed up?

I sometimes use soapy water and sometimes Sevin dust! Hope this helps.

some one told me to try baby powder, its nontoxic for humans and animals and doesnt harm the plant. The only down side is you have to retreat often since it washes off. It seems to be working... good luck.

Hey, thanks so much. That sounds great! I will see if I have some, if not, I will buy some. Got to be less toxic then sevin! And the sevin needs to be sprayed often I believe since it washes away to. Quite honestly, I did not worry about them this year. Much too hot to get out there and spray. Had a bad year for bugs and the seed population is way down. I do so hope that next year is better! have a great weekend.
