This easy to grow old-fashioned annual appears in mid summer laden with colorful rose-shaped flowers of pink, red, salmon, purple and white. Once popular in Victorian gardens this variety was referred to as a Touch-Me-Not. When ripe seed pods are touched the pods burst open and fling seeds through the air. The flowers appear along the stems among bright green leaves and grows 18 inches tall in full sun in cooler climates or full to part shade in areas with hot summers.
