Description
The listing, Roman Coin 330-335- Documented and Archived has ended.
Some years ago, I bought a collection from an English gentleman that included some artifacts that he had found with his metal detector. All of the artifacts were archived on a database called the Portable Antiquities Scheme. Each artifact has a description of what was found and where. All of these artifacts have database numbers and can be looked up online. I will be putting these on from time to time.
This coin is of copper alloy and possibly a contemporary of the House of Constantine; Wolf and Twins. Minted around AD 330-335. It measures 14.4mm in diameter is 1.6mm thick and weighs 1.87 grams. You will get the coin and the original paperwork.
