You are bidding on a Vintage Handmade Foam Sequin Doll With an Umbrella . This Doll is a little dusty but I was afraid to clean it. My boyfriend and I are Real Estate Investors and I found approx 50 of these handmade dolls in a home we just purchased and the home was made in the very early 1900's and was passed around threw the same family since it was built so when we bought it, it was pretty full of stuff. These ladies were very talented at arts and crafts projects. I am not a doll collector myself but thought I would give it a go on here and if I get a good bid on these I will be listing more. I am going to list a total of 3 to start so check out my other auctions! Pictures speak for themselves for these dolls. They stand 5 inches tall and 3 inches wide and all of them are a one of a kind. Each Doll has a separate theme. The base of the doll is made from foam and the dress or outfit on each has been delicately placed with straight pins, each sequin has been put in separately. the head is made from plastic (the soft kind sort of like a barbie) and the hands are a white hard plastic and looks like they are wearing gloves, and the props attached with these dolls are made from all sorts of things. This particular doll has an umbrella with it and as you can see from the last photo some of the sequins have fallen off of the umbrella but are still there so you can glue them back on.
