This is Ann Rule's first novel and it's even creepier than her non-fiction true crime accounts. Haunting, though not literally. Whomever wins it will have a really good unputdownable book!

Darn, I have to remember to reply to comments from that link rather than on the aucion page. I did reply to your comment but the notification (that I have a comment to reply to) won't go away, until now, as I need to email you about my doctors appt/ It's at 1:45 on Tuesday, Oct 25, the earliest I can get in. It's exactly 3 weeks from today. Is there any place you would like to meet? Is there a dog park in Cypress? If it's a cool day I can bring one of my little precious kids, probably Toto. He weighs 15 pounds, is half Rat Terrier and half Toy Fox Terrier, quite active and badly needs a playmate. He outweighs Little Roo so I hope he/she will not be afraid but be gregarious and playful. If she's shy with other dogs and easily overwhelmed and frightened, I won't bring either of my two little much-loved rascals. I'm fine with that. Let me know. Later,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, :))

Great! I've known for many years that Ann Rule is good at true crime, the best we have at that, but I was surprised by how well done her first fiction novel was, very professionally written as though fiction had been her forte all along. There is one thing I need to mention that I didn't include in the description and that is there is a quite small corner of the back cover missing. I had forgotten about that. I would still classify the condition of the book overall as good. The most important thing about the condition of any book is that the spine is strong and it isn't close to having any about to be loose pages and that's true of this book. And then there's the lack of any reader marks in margins or any underlining or highlighting, which is the second most important consideration in determining the classification of the condition of any book and this book is also free of any markings.
