The top is strapless, ruched up both sides, with boning in the sides and bust to help it stay up, and zips completely open for ease of putting it on and taking off. The skirt is a slim dirndl style with a zipper and kick-pleat in the back. I will be very upfront and say this is a very small size 4, in fact I would say it's closer to a 2. A smaller busted size 4 it may work for, but I was just too big to get it zipped up completely on the side. The skirt was slightly tight also. But, nevertheless, a stunning look for any garden party, wedding, night on the town!!
