The listing, Yarn has ended.
U will get all of what is shown in the pictures. I tried to take pics that would show the sizes of the balls of yarn best. I dont know how many yards each one is. And no, i will not un-wind them to find out. Lol. Free shipping and tracking. Good Luck!!
Ok, with the help of an awesome Listian, CrystalsStuff, i was able to try to take some pics that might help give a lil more detail about these balls of yarn. I used the soda can to help show the sizes of the yarn. I pulled the ends of the yarn apart to see if i could tell what ply they are...but im still not quite sure how to tell...when i pulled them apart, all except for the light blue one, pulled apart and there were 2 strands of yarn. Those two strands also pulled apart to make 4 strands all together. So im not sire if that means they are 2 ply or 4 ply. The light blue pulled apart and there were only 3 strands and those strands didnt pull apart. I have a friend who is coming over and offered to let me use her scale to weigh them. As soon as she gets here i will weigh them and then post it here in the description. Thank You to all who understand that i have no clue about yarn but can see that i am trying.
Questions & Comments
It's the gage of the yarn. Thicker yarn is worsted and a thinner is sock/baby
Ok well...since all i can use to determine that is my own common sense, i would have to say that they are all worsted, except for the light blue one. That one i would have to say is sock/baby. I never knew that so much went into something as simple as yarn. I was just saying to myself, when i was pulling apart the end of each yarn to figure out what ply they are, man...this isnt rocket science...its yarn...i bet these ppl are wondering how i dont already know this stuff lol. But to be honest, i have come to believe that it really isnt rocket science, but also that yarn isnt just a simple thing as one who has never used it to craft things(other than friendship bracelets many years ago) would think it is. But i am happy to be learning about it. Thanks to everyone for that help!!
you can look at each end and count how many strings it has wrapped (twisted) together usually has like 3 or 4 in one strand! I would like to bid if I new! and maybe you could toke a pic by a cup or some thing we all know the size of!
Ok that i can do. Ty for the help i truly appreciate it. Plus now i know something new which is always awesome!! I will look and take another pic of them next to something...not sure what yet. But i will get it done asap!!
