Color enhanced is a term used when artificial heat is applied to a stone to "enhance", bring out, it's color. In an instance of an Emerald heat is applied to bring out the green color caused by Chromium (and sometimes vanadium), the more heat applied the more green the stone becomes.
They simply finished the work mother nature started to give you a prettier stone, and this one is certainly eye catching.

You have no clue what you're even asking. Here's how I know. Because no one would use those terms. I enjoy when people on this site act like they know what they're talking about but have no clue.

Please don't bid on my auctions. I want it to go to someone who'll appreciate it.

You have no clue what you're talking about, much like the majority of people who comment on this site.

P.S. I have a friend I'd send it to who would make a fantastic long silver necklace out of it! ( What does "occasions" mean?) Just curious, because I still think it's just amazing. I'm sorry people are giving you a hard time. Everyones a a Gemologist, huh.

I don't care what everyone else is saying, I thought this was suppose to be sum-what of a fun site. Not everyone can or (THINK) they are an expert. I think this is a magnificent stone. I won a beautiful large garnet early on in my history. I had it made into a tie tac. I think I am going to try and win this to match. Fan & watching.

It is a beautiful stone. If you are curious what Gems are and enhancements, oiling and various treatments of gems. Go to this site. It is a wonderful site. I really like this emerald. It is a fun site. I love to read about what other people have to say. Sometimes they know what they are talking about . We all learn a little on here. I love Listia and the more I know about what I am bidding on the more I want to bid on it.

I have won 213 items on here and happy with most of them. But that is what bidding is about. Be honest, friendly, enjoy the help you can receive on here.
Watching, may bid and may not. Love emeralds
