I’m certainly not trying to take advantage of anyone here and maybe I’m being overly defensive but I feel it’s incredibly rude to make negative comments regarding the price of another seller’s auction. It’s ill-mannered and unprofessional and quite simply has me fuming. I enjoy the time I spend here on Listia because I love to shop and more so the thrill of bidding to win & getting a good deal! I’m a single mom and a full time college student so my money is scarce and limited to groceries and household necessities. Listia allows me to fuel my little shopping addiction (my only “me time” hobby) without costing money that is needed to support my family. I already struggle with spending money out of pocket to ship items but realize that auctions with shipping costs don’t typically do well. So if I want to be successful here I can’t just give away items. To be honest, until your comment, I have never had anyone express issues with my pricing and every auction I’ve listed has resulted in a transaction. Did you consider that your comment might offend me or even care? Anyhoo…I’ve wasted far too much time and energy into this response. Hopefully, it wasn’t a complete waste and you will consider all of the above mentioned before you comment on anyone else’s auction.

Each baggie comes with 100% authentic Iowan air and if you’re lucky, quite possibly a partial fingerprint from none other than Yours Truly! :-P I’m curious…Do you often make rude and unsolicited comments on auctions you deem priced to “steep”? Or, did you just happen upon my auction and decide to publicly insult me by posting your uninvited & unwelcome opinion? Maybe I’m over thinking this or misunderstand your intentions…if so, please accept my sincere apologies. However, I’m assuming you think I’ve unfairly priced my auction. Yes? No? Hmmm…
Consider this; I am already paying the shipping cost of $2.04, add in postal packaging, label, ink, gas to post office…I would need bids to reach roughly 3000 just to break even. My starting bid is only 499 credits which is equivalent to roughly 50 cents in monetary value. I don’t see how you can consider that to be too “steep”. Many sellers only list 2-3 baggies in their auctions and have higher starting bids or only offer “buy it now”. Again, I’m curious…What, in your opinion, would be an acceptable amount for my auction? What would you propose I include in these baggies? Perhaps, I should just give them away? *sigh*
