This is a used 3.5" Floppy Disk Reader with USB cord attached. It's compatible with computer software 1997 to present, I was using it with Windows 8 and 2015 Mac Safari. I will take another photo a little closer, with my bad eyes I should have thought about that.

that is a 3.5 inch floppy disk drive
appears to be new,
and it has a usb cable connected to drive.
had the exact same model, gave to a friend and no longer own.

Yes, I transferred all floppy disk photos to hard drive, it works great.
