*****PLEASE READ CAREFULY***** this calculator is probably at least 10 years old. All I know is that putting 4 fresh AAA batteries in is giving me no result. These calculators have a cell type of battery, not sure if it's necessary or a back up, but I have not attempted to replace that. Calculator has the cover, but no cord to connect it to the computer and no guide/packaging/etc. I know some people are really smart and can fix these things or re-use some of the components. To the very best of my knowledge the calculator has never suffered any type of physical, heat, water, etc, damage.
