The listing, More Than One Pound!! of Alpaca Fleece for Felting has ended.

Fabulous for Felting! This is over a pound of raw, unwashed, unsorted, adult alpaca fleece in browns, greys, with a bit of black and white thrown in. It is very dirty, may include some beans, but washing will encourage the natural felting of this fiber. Includes fleece from several animals - huacaya and suri.

Questions & Comments

I had sold some sheep wool on here. My wool only had VM (veg material-like straw and hay) in the wool. Is this what you mean by beans? Or do you mean feces...My sheeps wool had no feces, urine or dirt or bugs...Could you clarify this for me and Thanks

Alpacas make 'beans'. Yes, the fiber/fleece may have dung tags, urine stains, etc. It is very dirty, but mostly just dirt and straw. No bugs of any kind and it has been kept in plastic bag since it left the animal(s). Washing it will help it felt. Hope that helps.

Sorry, that's the whole point. It's waste fiber I'm not going to use or wash. I have enough, I don't need this.
