Questions & Comments
Is the trim genuine leather and does it have any pockets inside the bag?
I can't tell...It doesnt feel cheap but it doesnt say real leather so its probably fake? No pockets on the inside, 1 small pocket on the front that doesn't snap. Yeah, I'd base my bidding on negative on real leather.. thanks for asking :0)
No Idea, I bought it on line through a lady who was closing her business. I only paid like $30 for it... I got lucky she had 3 others that went higher.. Funny you should ask cause when i saw them I thought....Hmmm? thought they only made baskets. but what do I know, I thought it was cute anyway.
My sister used to sell Longaberger big time. Went to conventions and all that stuff. I know while she was selling (probably 10-12 years ago,) they made stoneware bowls, serving pieces, etc. so, maybe now they make bags. It's not a name you see everyday.
Longaberger does make fabric items. I haven't been involved with it since the late 1990s, but it wouldn't surprise me that they are making stuff like this now! If it really is Longaberger it will be marked somehow on every piece ... the baskets have a burned-in logo on the bottom, and I'm sure this will have that same logo somewhere on each piece.
Oh, yeah, I see the tag in the photo. I'm sure you can find these types of items on Longaberger's web site ... I'll bet they are expensive too! Always very nice quality, everything Longaberger makes!
