Auntie Nadine's Purple Passion...my grandmother had this AV when my Mother was a little girl and she was born in 1933...just stick it in water and root it out....

I will make sure that I send you a leaf with a root already and you can go ahead and put it directly into your AV dirt which you can get at Lowes, Home Depot or even at Walmart....you need a 3" pot with a hole in the bottom and a drain pot with a few flat marbles in it for the pot to set on so you can put the water into it about a half inch above the marbles....so you actually have a pot with a hole inside a bigger pot with no holes (I use those clear saucers and they are cheap...about 4 for a buck at the dollar stores) and AV do not like terra cotta pots....always water from the bottom with water that has set out for at least 24 hours so that all the chemicals evaporate...just email me with any other questions.....
