The cup is small, about the diameter of a penny. It is good for grinding up small amounts of herbs or mixing together very precise amounts - because the cup is small less of the powder will stick to the edges when you’re finished, giving you more of what you made for actual use.

Please keep in mind it takes over 6 years for this particular strain of bamboo to grow to be this size so this is a very rare item from me. I only have a few pieces left appropriate for making more of these.

The edges have all been sanded smooth so there are no jagged edges. The inside of the cup is naturally smooth and is left un-finished. If you wish to use liquids in the cup you can finish it though; the inside is smooth and would easily take a finish.
