I know they are very small. Would you estimate based on a tad or a tsp?

Never measured it but I am guessing maybe 1/4 to 1/2 t as a guess. Really not sure. It is a good amount of seeds to get started. The seeds are very small.

Lavender is not hard to get started. People think you can water them and keep them damp. Lavender likes to dry out before watering again. If you do this, you will be successful.

will it grow inside in a container like during the winter time?

Lavender will grow in a container while small. However it will grow very large and get wider so it will need to be outdoors eventually.

thank you for answering my question so quickly. I just figured I am in a 6a zone. So would it be better to plant inside to let it get a growth or outside? Even if I don't win the auction I want to plant lavender for health reasons. watching and fanned.

Lavender is very healing and the scent of fresh lavender is beautiful. Lavender likes to completely dry out before rewatering. Other than that, it's an easy plant to grow. I tent certain plants in the winter. It works out fine.
