It works GREAT! I only used it once had long hair when given to me but Ihave chosen to go with a short hair style. So therefor I do not need anymore. I was going to put on ebay as the other autioneer but saw that she was kind enough to give hers to a Listian and decided to do the same and not worry with the headache of ebay. Hello! This will straighten and curl. The instruction booklet shows you how to straighten unfortunately I have STRAIGHT STRAIGHT hair so I never tried it. My sister has one and uses it to straighten tho. Thank You
