The tablet does not work, I got it from another Listian but I may have left it on and now it won't power on or charge. I tried everything except to open it which I would leave to someone who knows what they are doing. I have a charger, not sure if it is the correct one,I did not receive a box.
Yes when I received it, it worked. I may have let the battery run real low and I think the tablet may have locked itself. I tried pressing on and home button together and the reset button but that did not work. I was told to open it up and check the pins but that is a bit too much for me.
Sorry to hear that , but I am not sure what the true problem is. I assume from what I am saying someone may know what is wrong with it, repair it and use it or sell it.
I was searching for solutions and of course I may not have the correct charger, could be that simple but this is what I read about opening the tablet and that is a lot of work to me;.1) Open the case. This is a really easy case to open. It just pops apart. There are small slots on 3 of the sides. Insert a screwdriver into one of them and pry it apart slightly. Use something plastic, like a guitar pick, to work around the outside and gently pry the back off of the case. 2) Desolder the battery and home button wires to get them out of the way (don't forget which is positive and negative). 3) Remove the screws that go through the motherboard, and the 2 screws for the power/volume switches. 4) Disconnect all ribbon cables except for the biggest one, then pry the metal antenna off of the tape next to the battery. 5) Flip the motherboard over (it will still be attached to the other components) to see the charging jack. If you want to try to fix it while it's still attached to the motherboard, go for it. I chose to remove it completely for repair. 6) With a jeweler's screwdriver or other sharp metal object, scratch up the metal back side of the charging jack, where the pin is press-fitted to flat metal. This is where it failed. After scratching the metal, apply flux, then put a moderate size blob of solder on it to basically weld it back together. 7) Reassemble in reverse order. Worked for me. There are many points in this process where things can go horribly wrong.
