here are your instructions:

1. as with all glow in the dark items, you must have it in the sunlight or bright light for at least an hour - the longer it is exposed to light the brighter and longer it will glow

2. these are pretty green surrounded by black acrylic, glow in the dark and really gleam if you follow the above instructions

they are non-allergenic because they are acrylic and also have backing that is rubber so they shouldn't bother you.
