I wish I could tell you, but I really don't know. I use MS WIN 8.1 and am finding that it's kind of hit and miss as too what will work with that OS and what will not, in terms of older technology. The nice thing about this is, its free... so it's worth the gamble. I was going to recycle this item back into the community via FREE GEEK, a non-profit that uses the Linux OS. There are countless geeks who know how to adapt WIN=based {old and new) technology to their use. It's way beyond me. I'm sorry I cannot be of more help.
