Just wanted to say beautiful dress. I used to work at David's. The dresses are all women's sizes. Not misses. The way the dresses are shipped into the store (most don't know this) are in bags and all bunched up. We had to hang them then steam them before putting them on the floor. They could not fit into a large flat rate box even with how small they are packed in there. I've tried with my sisters dress that is the same style as yours. Most dresses run about 2 sizes smaller than your normal size so, for example, if you are normally a 14 you would need a 16 or 18 as a general rule of thumb. Also, most of David's dresses can be taken in about 1.5" at each seem but letting it out is less than .5" if at all. Hope you sell this for what you want. Very pretty!!! Fanned. :)

I will have to check with USPS or ups whichever anyone prefers based on the weight of the dress. I can't do that till morning when I can get an accurate weight. I will be sure to post it ASAP :)

very pretty!! I am trying to collect as many evening/formal dresses (in all sizes) so that my daughter and I can help the less fortunate girls/women have beautiful dresses, shoes, and jewelry to wear to military ball/prom/homecoming/wedding etc...so I pray I win this one for "God's Closet" and for the girls of Clinton County :) fanned and watching

WWWOOOWW what a beautiful dress! If I were able to wear this and getting married I would gladly pay 20$ for this amazingly beautiful dress. Talk about generous listing a $2000 dress on here and only asking for shipping cost. I hope this goes way higher in the next few hrs because this certainly warrants it!!

I can positively say I weighed more than that when I wore it lol. It fit perfect, I did not have any alterations dine so the original seam allowance is all still there if it would need let in or out. The only changes made were a hand sewn bustle(can be tied up or down) and on the day of I was to 1:hot 2:fat 3: uncomfortable because of both and didn't wear the corset or crinolines!

momma1970: there is no w on the size but I can tell you this; I got a size 14 and about two months before I was married I found out I was pregnant and had to go up a size to accommodate the girls lol. I didn't buy it in a misses section or anything the sizes went up from 0 to 24 at David's. I hope that helps!!

Just wanted to let you know that I have shipped and received dresses MUCH heavier
than this one, and it was less than 13.00 to ship, if you go thru the post office. And that included delivery confirmation. We shipped a very heavy, multi-layered, heavily beaded plus sized 30, wedding gown for 11.87. And that included delivery confirmation.
It's best to take it to the post office in the box you plan to use, and have it weighed to get an accurate postage rate. That way you will get more bids for not over charging for shipping. It's a gorgeous dress, hun. Best of luck to you.
