Description
The listing, Living origami owl locket has ended.
One Heart shaped locket in goldtone with red rhinestones, chain included. Magnetic closure. Fill with charms, gems, or any momentos you like. I won this right here on listia as a gift but found that due to the shape it only holds a maximum of three charms or gems while the standard round lockets can hold five with space between. Shipping is free and tracking is provided.
Questions & Comments
Meg... no I mean someone stole it after the mailman delivered it (as tracking shows it was delivered but I never received, have a few not received since our new neighbors moved in. We just installed cameras to show who's going into our box but have to read the "huge manual" LOL to figure how to retrieve the video hahaha.. but we'll catch them, been quite a drag with gifts around here lately. Last Christmas was a $300+ real claddagh ring from Ireland that my youngest wanted, had it redelivered to my hubbys work after we filed a claim with P.O...
I was imagining that they would leave my packages alone because they look like they dont have anything valuable, but I suppose criminals would likely take anything. If you cant catch them you should start mailing yourself animal dung! That would make for a nasty surprise!
Stolen at delivery!? That shouldnt happen with mine simply because im all thumbs and most of my packages look like I let the dog wrap em, lol. I go a little crazy with the bubble wrap and tape!
I doubt it. It didnt come in the origami owl box, just this little gold one, and no marking to suggest real gold or even gold plating. But, to be honest, I have two genuine origami owls and four generic lockets and the generic ones have a firmer magnetic closure, a nice weight to them, and both the metal and rhinestones are shinier. My advice would be to purchase one of each somewhere and return the one you dont like just so you can compare them in person.
Yup. Its a heart shaped locket for your gems and charms. They have all different locket shapes available, I just couldn't use this one because the shape makes it difficult to fit as many charms as the round ones.
Origami owl is the name brand company that makes the locket necklaces. Just to clear things up for folks with vision problems or low sight, this is just a round locket. BUT- if you search for them there actually are owl shaped locket necklaces (which, as an owl lover I think are AWESOME!)
