This rope chain is a gold tone with black cord woven through it. It is not solid gold. I solely picked this chain for it's look for this ribbon so that it could be worn by men or women. It is marked tri-bar, from what I can see. Not quite sure what that means...? Manufacturer, etc. I could not find anything on the internet. Anyways, this gold tone rope chain measures 16" with a gold tone lobster clasp. Very well made and has some weight to it. The black ribbon is made of onyx beads measuring, 6mm round onyx and 10mm rounds with a couple 4mm bicone swaroskies. The ribbon itself measures 1 by 2". It is made on wire and finished wirh nickel bead caps on ends. This black ribbon represents, anti-tobacco (so it could be worn to support those who have quit smoking.) It also represents anti-gangs, sleep disorders as well as melanoma. This is a great way to show your support as well as bring awareness to the many illnesses we struggle with today. This is a one of a kind item.
