The listing, ASUS EeePC-Flare Series ~ NETBOOK-PC ~ *DUAL-BOOT*(Windows7&Windows10)**NEEDS REPAIR**SOLD AS-IS** has ended.

~USED - ASUS EeePC-Flare Series - Netbook PC~
-ASUS model 1025C

**NEEDS REPAIR**SOLD AS-IS**For Parts or Repair

-I have tested this device to the best of my ability and have determined that although it is a working device it will need further repair in order to function properly.

-Dual-Boot Operating Systems include:
-Windows 7(needs activation, unfortunately, the Product KEY has been removed from the device)
-Windows 10 - Technical Preview - which I installed as a secondary OS alongside Win7.
*OS selection screen upon POST boot-up of the system.(see photos)

-F1 button needs to be pressed to start POST boot-up(otherwise you will be left with "ASUS" splash-screen, no big deal but worth mentioning)

-After about 30 min. of use(sometimes longer), system enters a blue screen mode and needs to be restarted and re-booted. *I think the drive is failing.

-As you can see from the photos, the bottom shell has a chunk taken from it. which keeps the LEFT side from securely fastening with the keyboard(see PHOTOS). And, the photos clearly show that there are a few missing keys("CAPS LOCK and TrackPad L/R keys), but the buttons function.
*Also, I want to point out that the A key needs to be pressed Firmly for it to respond.

-Charger is brand NEW! I bought it specifically to get this auction posted
-Battery holds a good charge
-All side ports(USB,HDMI,VGA,SDslot), tested & working

-FAST&FREE Shipping in the USA!
-Sold AS-IS/For Parts or Repair
-Returns will not be accepted
-All Listia Rules apply

From what you are mentioning , by experience it means that your laptop is overheating This can be anything from a simple internal fan replacement to a whole new motherboard. The reason it only last for 30 minutes + is thats all it takes to start getting really hott inside the laptop , then it will go to blue screen as a safety function. Try checking to see if you can hear or see the internal fan working , if not, thats your problem.

if it's just a broken fan I would love to purchase this, message me and let me know. Thanks

also , sometime the post near the fan gets really dirty and the dirt seals up the fan port hole , so no new cold air can get inside , this is another cause of overheating as well. Just to throw it out there to help you out.
