What is the metal? It's actually important to state the metal type, because if someone buys the ring, and it's something they're allergic to, they can get a refund, BECAUSE you neglected to mention. Even if you don't know, it's wise to state that the metal type in unknown, to prevent problems.

that is not true about listia policy, it is the buyer's job to read and then if they are still not sure to ask. it is shiny silver tone as stated, which means it is cheap metal - if you ask (which you did) if you have any allergies, please don't bid on my auctions, to save us both time and effort. by the way, my late mother (rip) had trouble with some metals and she used to paint the inside of her rings and bracelets with colorless nailpolish to stop an allergic reaction. hope I have been helpful. happy listia-ing :)
