The listing, ALL ABOUT RATS PET CARE BOOK has ended.
Rats make very nice pets. They are very smart too! I have raised all sorts of pets. We had hooded rats mostly. They are clean animals. This book was one I personally had. It's in very good condition. A big book! It is a 96 page paperback. About 8" x 5-1/2" No writing in or out.

U know mine are two males and I haven't really had any problems at all with them but they are also separated and never met each other I hold them at different times and play at different times but the only reason is because I already had one who is grown but young and bought another from someone who didn't take good care of it so I pretty much saved him and he's much older over a year old and tends to grab and bite a little but not out of being mean it's just because he was very miss treated but he's getting better the more I mess with him the other one just licks will never bite and sits beside me and is well trained but I won't let them meet because of the other one being so old and never being around another rat
The last two my daughter got were males. They were brothers. Been together since birth so were fine to stay together. She rehomed them for lack of time. She has a horse too. Spends most of her time, when she gets home from work, with her horse. She trains in Dressage and occasionally shows. And 2 chihuahua dogs and a big Maine Coon cat to keep her busy at home. I have 4 other cats too. We like animals! ;-)
Cavies are also called guinea pigs. You may be more familiar with that term. I'm thinking about getting another. I prefer cavies over bunnies, rats or any other rodent. If you have more than one they follow each other around the house or yard like a little train. So cute! And when they are born they look just like the adults and can survive on they own, ready to go. I used to breed them, silkies and shorthaired ones.
I've always kept animals, even as a preschool child. Dogs & cats used to follow me home from school! I'm sure my lunch sandwich or cookies that I had in my pocket had nothing to do with it! LOL!
