The November 1953 issue of Silhouette, a promotional publication for Hollands dry cleaners, Moorhead, Minnesota.

Loaded with "lady of the house" stuff, such as fashion and hair -- and lots of puns! Black & white photos.

Small, roughly 8 1/4 by 5 1/4 inches; 8 pages, including covers.

Sound staple binding. Other than original mailing info, no markings. Clean -- as a dry cleaning promo piece should be! ;)

I have velvet topped, paper bottomed dress something like this. I really should put it up for bid. Haven't worn it in years. It was such fun dressing to the nines, 50s make-up and all. Do you think there would be any interest? This is a fantastic ephemera. I'm watching and fanned you.

I just had here at Listia (closed yesterday) a vintage Singer booklet with sewing pattern ads/photos -- but I have some vintage patterns... Probably a few I might be able to part with...
