It's there anyway you can make sure it will run off of Wi-Fi without no Verizon connection because I too just want it for my child to run through Wi-Fi I don't want service on it

as everyone else has asked, does this need a sim card? also-has this phone been paid for, as in will Verizon have it locked due to it being a contract phone that the contract has not concluded on? I've bought one like that before, could not be put on a service plan unless I paid a LARGE bill...thing was useless.
