They are different! And no one else around me have these in their flowerbeds, and Im not sharing with them! The HOA thinks I need to remove them but if I have to pay 25.00 a month in "fines" so be it! Keeps the biddies off my doorstep and neighbors wondering! Suspense!!!! heehee :)

No offence meant Candyce but some of these photos are obviously digitally manipulated. I would love to bid on something like this but only if the photos were accurate, even if they aren't as neon as the photos here are. I'm sure they are still lovely.

Here we go again.... i dealt with this in my last auctions, these are not manipulated, the green blue and purple were taken at night, (dusk) thats the best time to get the true beauty of the roses...ask any professional award winning grower. you can research japanese longstem roses and learn how these colors were hybrid and sent to market. then, if you prefer to spew on someones auction, save it for yours please. there are plenty of listians that have these seeds and are satisfied with them, the bidzilla circle already tried this and proven wrong, have moved on....so thanks for your input, but i dont deal with this in my auctions, so save it for another. thanks!

we need a blocking system or something if the roses come out different It could be a variety of things Candyce would not
know about. ie, climate, water, soil, gardner, upkeep. Even if they were half as beautifull as the pics I would be happy.

What in the world??? I LOVE THESE!! Am always looking for something different, exotic and these fit the bill! And why would the HOA want you to remove something so beautiful? We live in an HOA, which I hate, but ours is pretty tame compared to some!
Will you be posting more of these??

Not trying to bash it, I'm just genuinely curious about these. I've tried looking them up but I'm not having much luck. I wanted to get these for someone, and I'm just wondering if they actually grow those colors on their own? Thanks.

Lovely! :)

Being a novice and all... my question is: do these delightful roses require any certain climate (as compared to "average" roses)?

I presently have Teacup roses in my garden (they were already here when we moved in so I cannot take credit for them thriving lol). I absolutely adore the awesome colors offered in this auction and know beyond a doubt... people would notice the unique variety :D :D :D

Thanks for the info and for the COOL Auction!

Fanned ya :)

Peace n Blessings to ya!

Im in lincoln, ca about 47 miles south of sacramento, and they seem to love the climate! i have teacups as well and they do fine here also! i would think they would do fine in all zones during spring and summer as long as the roots dont freeze. i lived in washington proir to moving here and the weather was mild, wummers didnt get up past 75 degrees and i left mine out all winter just pruned them down and covered them with cedar bark, they did fine come spring and summer! thanks! fanned you back!

awesome auction!! Just wish my credits werent tied up on a auction for somethign for one of my daughters....
and this is to Zoe... I have some bright flowers in my garden...colors I didn't think were possible either...but everything can affect that...like was mentioned climate water soil ect. if the soil is acidic it gives a more neon color and also not saying that Candyce did this but even adding food coloring to your water when watering can change the flower colors.

These are amazing! I love the GREEN ones and I have to admit I really like the black ones too! Unfortunately I end up killing every single plant I try to grow-apparently a brown thumb instead of a green one! LOL I fanned and will be watching for my daughter who seems to have that special touch!

Im not going to comment on these specific pictures because im not a rose plant expert, but a good way to tell if a pic has been photoshopped or not is to look not at the subject itself but at the background of the photo. for example, if the leaves are supposed to be green but they are tinged another colour for example blue, its fair to guess that the subject is less blue in real life. if the entire picture including the background looks normal then the subject is probably accurately depicted. this type of comparison is the only way to tell because things like lighting and comp monitor can unintentially but greatly effect how the pictures looks compared to real life... the best way to keep naysayers away imo would be to also post some pics of these roses in shade, daylight, no flash.
