The listing, Heirloom Sugar Drip Sorghum Seeds 50 has ended.
These seeds were collected here in NC, from my Uncle's Farm. This is an old southern plant, and I have no idea how it would adapt in super cold environments. The stalks are 8 to 10 ft tall, and have a high volume of "syrup". Light molasses, not to be confused with the old black strap. Very sweet syrup, and a very old southern tradition for pancakes and poured over cornbread or substitution for honey. The stalks after the juice is removed, can be fed to livestock. The seed tops when thrashed can be used as broom straw, and make cute little brooms...I need to put one of my brooms on here...they are fun to make..This variety of sorghum is becoming rare, and I thought I would share some seeds, to keep these babies going on. Thanks for your attention...any questions please ask...
