Thank you! I went ahead and bid on the manatee, too. I gave my husband a "charm bag" and the manatee and elephant would be perfect additions to it. The first things I gave him for it was a pocket knife that belonged to my dad, probably from the 1930's or 40's, as the case is blue plastic or something like it - and the other thing is a beautiful red polished stone. I bought it at the planetarium when I was 7 or 8 years old to give to my mom, because her birthstone was a ruby. After she passed away, I got her old jewelry box and yeah, I cried when I saw it was still in there. Sentiment is always more important than monetary value - and I know you already know that! <3

Absolutely i understand the value of sentiment! My Mom kept so many of my childhood things and when she passed I got to enjoy them all over again!
